In times of social division and fragmented living environments, intergenerational solidarity seems more important than ever. Loneliness, social exclusion, and ageism have long been an everyday reality—for both the young and the old.

Together with Sebastian Kurtenbach (Münster University of Applied Sciences) and Hanna Henke (pastor, Halle-Neustadt), we discuss experiences from research and practice and explore where and how encounters, exchange, and collaboration between generations are still—or once again—possible.
