A discussion on implementation, stakeholders and communication with Katja Müller (Merseburg University of Applied Sciences) and Manja Rothe-Balogh (Competence Centre for the Municipal Heat Transition)

In Central Germany, structural change is raising fundamental questions regarding new hubs for heat and energy production. These pose challenges and necessitate fundamental change for local authorities and citizens. To mark the exhibition Ganz andere Wärme (A Whole New Kind of Heat), the AfA discussion series Struktur & Wandel (Structure & Change) addresses the heated debates surrounding these changes.

In conversation with Katja Müller, Heisenberg Professor of Technology, Ethics and Society, and Manja Rothe-Balogh, Head of Communications at the Competence Centre for Municipal Heat Transition (KWW), the discussion will explore various perspectives to understand what is working well in Saxony-Anhalt’s local authorities and where things are going wrong. Where and to what extent are people being taken along with the process, and where are they not?

Immediately before the discussion, there will be an artist talk with the two exhibiting artists, Carla Lou West and Karla Zipfel. Start: 18:00
