Agris

Agris is a short documentary offering a glimpse of the wintry fields of a CSA (community-supported agriculture) farm on the outskirts of Dresden: the solidarity-based vegetable co-op deinHof. Even in the depths of winter, work on this organic farm never comes to a standstill. Its gardeners work tirelessly by hand – tending, organizing, planting and watering the beds and fields, many blanketed under plastic to protect against the frost. Lisa Liepelt, herself a long-standing member of deinHof, highlights the farm’s unique atmospheres, structures and textures. The result is an unhurried, attentive observation of the interplay between people, labour and landscape.
