Video Cannibalism

An isolated tribe of indians living far away from any kind of civilization, is visited by a film team and gets to know modern video technology, at first from the angle of the actor and then from that of the director: they are shooting their own action movie. Gradually the viewer discovers discrepancies, which at first appear exotic, then grotesque and finally tasteless - slowly the suspicion arises, that all this is a tricky farce. The suspicion however cannot be verified, facts and fiction become odd. What is left, is the experience of oneself being fixed on the distinction between the two.
