Susanne Schüle

Freelance cinematographer specialising in documentary films since 1995, collaborating with Stanislaw Mucha, Gerd Kroske, Branwen Okpako, Biljana Garvanlieva, Andrei Schwartz, and others. Recipient of numerous awards, including the Adolf Grimme Prize for Cinematography, the Prize for Best Cinematography at the Leipzig Documentary Film Festival, the DEFA Foundation Sponsorship Award, the German Short Film Prize and the Bremen Documentary Film Sponsorship Award. Since 2000, she has taught at various film institutions and, since 2009, has been a professor in the cinematography programme at the HFF Potsdam Babelsberg.
