Oleg Kovalov

Oleg Kovalov was born on September 20th 1950 in Leningrad. He studied philology at Leningrad University. From 1977-83 he studied film in Jewgeni Surkov’s master class at the Moscow film school WGIK.

After graduation he worked as a producer at Lenfilm-Studio, later he was employed at the archivcinema ’Spartak’ in Leningrad. He published essays in several journals.
