Leo Tax
Born in Berlin in 1989. Dropped out of early childhood education training in 2010. Worked in social services in the “Lavender Hill” township in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2011. Graduated with a degree in psychology from the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin in 2015. Engaged extensively in analog photography during and after his studies. Participated in Bert Rebhandl’s film criticism seminar at Freie Universität Berlin. Worked as a social psychiatric case worker in Berlin-Reinickendorf. Since 2017, studying media art at HGB Leipzig. 2018: semester abroad in art and film with Thomas Heise at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Since 2019: Expanded Cinema with Clemens v. Wedemeyer at the HGB Leipzig. Film collaboration with Andrėja Šaltytė. Participated in the Werkleitz PMMC Program 2020.
