Jenia Bayat Mokhtari

Jenia Bayat Mokhtari (born in Frankfurt am Main) studied Media Art/Media Design at the Bauhaus University Weimar (B.A.) between 2014 and 2018, during which time she produced documentary, fictional and animated documentary films. She worked as an editing assistant and co-writer on the documentary film “Taxi Altona” as early as 2012, and has been working as a freelance production assistant and second assistant director since 2019, including on the international series production “Unorthodox” (Netflix, Studio Airlift & Realfilm Berlin), as well as on the feature films “Gipfelstürmer” (ZDF, All In Production Munich) and the Kiel-set “Tatort” episode “Borowski und die Angst der weißen Männer” (NDR, Nordfilm GmbH).
