Ella Ziegler

Ella Ziegler, born in 1970 in Ilshofen. Since studying art at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle and the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland she has focused on site-specific interventions in urban public space.
Ella Ziegler has participated successfully in international exhibitions, the more recent among which were: Selected Artists, Berlin Senate scholarship-holders' show at the NGBK Berlin (2009), see3, at the Montagsbar of the Temporäre Kunsthalle, Berlin (2009), ON Projetto, Bologna (2008), Diskurs im Grünen at the Kunstverein Springhornhof, Neuenkirchen (2008). Solo exhibitions: Innocencia, a rose garden for the Kunstverein Wiesbaden (2007), MOSKAU BERLIN at Korridor, Berlin (2006), Entenhaus at the Nassauischer Kunstverein, Wiesbaden (2004).
Among the awards gained to date for her work number a Stiftung Kunstfonds Scholarship in 2010 and a Berlin Senate Scholarship for Fine Art in 2009.
