Robin Hood Gardens: Dokumentarfilm auf der 16. Architektur Biennale in Venedig

27.09.23

The film Robin Hood Gardens - Vision and Value by Adrian Dorschner and Thomas Beyer, supported by Werkleitz with a project grant, explores different points of view on the London housing development Robin Hood Gardens. The building of the architects Alison & Peter Smithson was inaugurated in 1972 and partially demolished at the beginning of this year. Fragments of the building are currently exhibited at the Architecture Biennale in Venice. As part of the exhibition, the film Robin Hood Gardens - Vision and Value by the Leipzig based filmmakers Adrian Dorschner and Thomas Beyer will be screened. The interviews in this film are excerpts from the raw material of her long portraits of Robin Hood Gardens, which will be completed in 2020. The 16th Venice Architecture Biennale will be open until November 25th 2018. The film is supported by Werkleitz, the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung, the Kulturstiftung Sachsen and the Sächsische Landesmedienanstalt.
