The Werkleitz Festival 2025 Planetary Peasants was a wonderful success.
We are delighted by the interaction of the artistic interventions at the Central Depository of the Natural History Collections (ZNS) and would like to thank the artists Kateryna Alyniik, Jochen Lempert und Alex Mayer, Nina Fischer & Maroan el Sani, Salka Tiziana & Julia Ábalos Reznak, Wolfgang Konrad & Clemens Stachel, Lisa Liepelt and Siegfried Bergmann.
This was made possible by the fantastic collaboration with Arila Perl, Frank Steinheimer and the entire team at the ZNS. Thanks to Florian Wüst as artistic co-director and film curator.
The symposium was a cooperation with the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, with thanks going to Christian Anton, Lisa Eggert, Franziska Hornig, Katharina Schmidt, Ronja Steffensky, Henning Steinicke and Antje Waldheim.
