Subject to funding approval, 10 advanced participants, working in duos across all disciplines, can develop and realize their ideas for medium- to feature-length documentary films within the framework of the PMMCLab from May 2026 to December 2027.
The PMMCLab is aimed at advanced media professionals, primarily from Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. In addition to co-directing, duos from other areas (e.g., directing/editing; directing/cinematography; directing/production, etc.) are also welcome.
Each project will be accompanied throughout its development process with dramaturgical guidance and intensive monthly group feedback and will be produced using professional equipment. The productions are complemented by high-level workshops on theory and practice.
