EMARE scholar Manuel Abramovich was honored with the golden Lola in the category Best Documentary Film, lasting up to 30 minutes for his film Blue Boy (DE, 2019) produced with EMARE and Werkleitz. In Blue Boy seven Romanian talk about their job while the audience only sees their faces and listen to the audio recordings of their own stories together with the audience.
