A38 Stipendium for Roopa Gogineni

The A38 grant was awarded to Roopa Gogineni at the 40th Kassel Dokfest for her short film Suddenly TV.

The grant is awarded annually as part of the Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival with the aim of promoting emerging artists in film and media and bringing documentary film to a young audience.
Werkleitz provides the prizewinner with non-cash benefits of up to €4,000 in the form of HD production equipment as well as support and advice for the production of an audiovisual work.

Werkleitz was also represented on this year's jury by Marcie K. Jost.

The grant is awarded by the cooperation partners Kasseler Dokumentarfilm- und Videofest, Werkleitz, the State Media Authority of Saxony-Anhalt and the Hessian State Authority for Private Broadcasting and New Media.
