Anna-Sophie Springer

Anna-Sophie Springer is an exhibition maker, writer, editor, and publisher whose editorial-curatorial practice engenders provocative encounters with art, science, design, politics, and ecology. Since 2011, she directs K. Verlag, a publishing atelier advancing new forms of the book-as-exhibition. Together with Etienne Turpin, she co-edits the intercalations: paginated exhibitions series published in partnership with Haus der Kulturen der Welt; they also co-direct the exhibition-led initiative Reassembling the Natural, whose Spring 2021 project is ponds among ponds: an exhibition of threshold behavior & nested life at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Shanghai. In 2020, she received a Deutscher Verlagspreis (German Publishing Prize) for K. Verlag.
