Visiting Artist Stéfan Piat

Stéfan Piat is currently carrying out research for his new video photo project as a scholarship holder at Werkleitz. In this new work, he reconstructs a place or a space that he projects onto himself using digital photography and interactive technology. The viewer becomes part of the visually reproduced spatial construction and determines the state of the space in perspective and time through his movement. The exploration of the perception of objects and spaces by means of (digital) photography is the central theme of Stéfan Piat's artistic activities, which he will talk about in his lecture.
