Sailboat is a structural film based on a loop, in which a sailboat repeatedly moves out of the image. Big letters, joining the depth of field reaching to the horizon to the flatness of the film image, state unequivocally what it is: a sailboat. Except that there is this naked shoulder suddenly entering the frame from the left foreground. Is it perhaps rather a home movie?
