“Earworm” is a story about a young Canadian who returns to discover his roots in the former East Germany. On his arrival, he finds a town gripped by a mysterious affliction. No one can give him a straight answer until he discovers group of anarchist Karaoke enthusiasts that not only suffer from the virus but have learned to love it. Slowly, our hero realizes that he too has become infected with this strange sickness that causes an addiction to the throbbing beat of Karaoke music and an overwhelming craving for the taste of human brain tissue…
